DUFFY’S SPORTS GRILL
Super Bowl Sunday is a super day for Duffy’s Sports Grill in terms of chicken wing sales.
“Last year, we sold over 6 tons of traditional wings chain-wide (23 stores),” says Sandy Nelson, Duffy’s marketing director.
This Sunday, there’s a good chance the chain will beat that figure as it offers a new combo: Duffy’s wings with baby back ribs ($13.99). That’s two of the sport bar chain’s signature items, served with fries and slaw.
The combo officially debuts on the eatery’s new menu Feb. 5, but it will be offered as a Super Bowl Sunday special for dine-in and takeout. For the dipping, there’s Duffy’s newest sauce, spicy mango habanero.
Bonus: Duffy’s MVP cardholders earn double points on takeout orders Super Bowl Sunday. Takeout party platters (made to serve 6 to 8 people) include three racks of baby back ribs ($49.99), a dozen mini cheeseburger sliders ($32.99), two-pound spinach and artichoke dip ($24.99) and two dozen jumbo fried chicken tenders ($26.99).
Of course, if it’s wings you crave, there are all manners of chicken wings (boneless and regular), offered with a choice of 10 sauces in orders of 10 to 100, priced from $9.99 to $107.96.
