DUFFY'S PERFECT SPOT TO EAT, WATCH A GAME

On a recent lunch trip to Duffy's Sports Grill in Boca Raton, I found myself longing for college basketball season, wishing I were there to watch a game. Duffy's has enough televisions on the walls to watch whatever you're looking for and it has a sports-themed décor. The food is good, too.

The menu offers a variety of items, including wings, burgers and sandwiches.

To start, we ordered spinach and artichoke dip ($6.99) and mozzarella sticks ($6.50). The dip was warm and creamy, with a melted layer of Monterey jack and cheddar cheeses bubbling on top.

The mozzarella sticks were golden and plump, possibly the plumpest ones I have ever seen, with thick mozzarella cheese inside and served with a side of marinara dipping sauce. They were so good that my friend said they were the best mozzarella sticks she's ever had. Judging by the way they disappeared, it's safe to say she wasn't lying.

For our meals, we had the buffalo chicken sandwich ($8.50) and a Philly cheese steak sandwich ($7.99). The buffalo chicken sandwich was tender and juicy. The sauce was mild yet tangy, tossed in just the right amount of buffalo sauce.

The Philly cheese steak was smothered in cheese along with peppers and onions. Both sandwiches came with crisp, golden French fries.

We left the restaurant sufficiently stuffed and happy, with plenty of leftovers.

With its multitude of televisions and tasty food, Duffy's is the perfect place to grab a bite and watch whatever sports event you want to see that day.
